“Would your SIM card work in my LG phone
which I got from US Cellular?”

“With respect to your mobile phone, it will need to
be ‘unlocked/unblocked’. If it is locked to US
Cellular, i.e. that your mobile only will accept
SIMs from US Cellular, I am afraid the 09 SIM card
will not work with your phone.”

“Which country is the local country for +354 09SIM
connections?”

“Each StarterPack comes with a SIM card with a
pre-configured +354 xx number, which is activated
and operational immediately. +354 is the country
code for Iceland.”

“Does the 09SIM card support SMS messages?”
Customer
“Yes, the 09 SIM card support SMS sending and
receiving. The flat rate for sending SMS is EUR 0.39
(up to 160 characters) and receiving is free.”

“In the event that circumstances find me home for a
while, e.g. over a year, I'd like to have a
non-expiring SIM or at least an easy way to extend
the card. Is 09SIM the one for me?”
Customer
“With respect to expiry; the SIM card (number and
any value) will expire if not used over a 9-months
period. All you need to do is to place a call or do
a top-up during any 9-month period, and you will
maintain your number and any value you might have on
the card.”

“I have a question. If 09SIM is a callback service
and I have to dial your number, then get a callback,
then dial my callback service, do I eat up your
minutes every time I dial my callback, even though I
hang up before the call is "answered"?”

“When you dial the number from your 09 SIM card, the
service will call you back after a few seconds. You
then answer the incoming call, and you will hear the
number you dialed ring. If you hang up before anyone
answer on the other side, you will not be charged
anything. You will only be charged in the moment the
call connects. Note that we cannot guarantee that
the 09 SIM card will work with your callback
service.”

countries, roaming capabilities, etc.”

“Unfortunately, the 09SIM card does not support data
transfer as GPRS, only voice and SMS. There are no
immediate plans for data transfer capabilities to be
implemented.”

“Do you ship to soldiers currently at a military
base in the middle east? If so, what would I enter
into the shipping address, or is there a way I can
order over the phone and have it shipped there.”

“Yes. Please place your order through our web site
using your CC and payment billing address as
requested. When you have placed the order, e-mail
your order number to admin@09sim.com, with you
requested shipping address to the relevant military
base, and we will ship it to that address. Note that
the shipping address must be a military base, not a
private/company street address. If you prefer, you
may e-mail us the shipping address and we will OK
this address before you place the order.”

web site & create an account to top up from my
mobile?”

“Please follow this link:

Then, CLICK HERE TO LOGIN, in the first box "Log in
to My Account 09 Mobile". In the login box, fill in
your mobile number starting with 354xxx, etc. You
should have received the password in your
StarterPack, or you may use the PUK code on the SIM
card. If not, we will need to reset your password.
Let us know, and a new password will be issued,
which you can change once you have logged in.”

“The SIM cards are only sold online, or in large
quantities to specific buyers. You may purchase from
our site, and it will be shipped in 2-3 days.”

“How much is it to receive a call in Cuba on 09sim?”
Customer
“When you are in Cuba and receive an incoming call
on the 09SIM card, it will be a charge of EUR 0.69
per minute.”

“How much would it cost when I call from a UK number
to a 09 number?”

“The cost from a UK number will depend on the rates
charged by your current operator. All calls will be
charged, depending on the operator, as one was to
call a mobile phone number in Iceland.”
